The elders of the western and central regions and Tripoli held a meeting in the city of Zuwara.

They emphasized the importance of reconciliation between the Libyans and expressed their eagerness to build a civil state.

The attendees issued a statement confirming their support for the Government of National Unity, calling on the parliament to give confidence to the government and to stand with the establishment of the state.

They urged the government to prepare for the elections scheduled for December 2021.
