Gas production resumed at Bahr Al-Salam offshore field

Mellitah Oil and Gas Company reopened the gas well on Bahr Al-Salam offshore field, after two years of stoppage due to technical problems.

Bahr Al-Salam offshore field is one of the largest production platforms in Libya, with a total production volume of about 37 million cubic feet per day of gas, and condensate is estimated at about 1,000 barrels per day.
