Two human smugglers arrested

The Criminal Investigation Agency arrested two members of a gang involved in human smuggling across the Libyan coast to southern Italy.

The two gangsters are a Libyan citizen and an Egyptian.

The two defendants pleaded guilty and were referred to the Anti-Illegal Immigration Prosecution Office.
