Oil fields in Al-Wahat region in southeast Libya closed

A group of people in the Al-Wahat region in southeast Libya announced the closure of oil fields in their region, starting from Sunday evening.

They said in a statement that the closure will continue until their demands are met. They called the Government of National Unity to hand over power to the stability government mandated by the House of Representatives.

They also called for the dismissal of the head of the National Oil Corporation, Mustafa Sanallah.
