An oil refinery to be established in the south of Libya

The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Al-Dabaiba, signed a decision to establish an oil refinery in the south.

The signing ceremony was held at the headquarters of the National Oil Corporation in Tripoli on Sunday in the presence of Deputy Prime Minister, Ramadan Abu Janah, and Chairman of the National Oil Corporation, Mustafa Sanallah.

The oil refinery project will contribute effectively to solving the fuel and gas shortage crisis in the southern region, in addition to creating job opportunities for many people.

In his speech, Al-Dabaiba stressed the importance of this project as it will contribute to spatial development and will work to stabilize the southern region and boost the economy.

Sanallah presented a visual presentation of the project, its importance, the costs, and the side projects to be implemented.
