On Tuesday morning, the Central Committee for Municipal Council Elections supervised the election of municipal councilors (Beni Walid and Daraj) in Tripoli.
Two ministers of the Government of National Accord, Badad Qansu, the Minister of State for Displacement and Displaced Affairs, Council of Ministers, Tahir Amer, and members of the parliament for the areas of (Haraba, Bani Walid) attended the ceremony.
The ceremony began with a speech by the head of the Central Election Commission, Salim bin Taheeh, in which he discussed the electoral process in the municipalities of Bani Walid and Daraj. During this process, Salim Ali Anwar was elected Mayor of Bani Walid Municipality and Fadel Mohammed Hasi was the Mayor of the Municipality of Daraj.
