Coast Guard rescues 132 migrants
#Libyan_Cloud_News_Agency – Al-Khums.
On Sunday, a unit of the Central Coast Guard, rescued 132 migrants. 10 children, 22 women and 100 men from Sudan, Mali, Chad, Nigeria, Guinea, Côte d’Ivoire, Senegal, Central Africa and Cameroon, Burkina Faso and Ghana were on board a rubber boat.
It crashed at sea about 50 miles north of the city of the Al-Khums. The Coast Guard returned them and took them to the point of landing of the illegal immigrants of Al-Khums Coast Guard.
They were suffering from cold and hunger. The Coast Guard, together with the Al-Tahir Zawi Organization, provided humanitarian and medical assistance to them before being handed over to the Immigrant Shelter Center.
