A campaign to preserve ancient city of Cyrene started in Shahhat

Libya Khalida Organization in the city of Shahhat has launched a campaign to preserve the “Agora” site in the ancient city of Cyrene under the supervision of the National Council for Libyan-American Relations.

The campaign aims to clear graffiti painted on the walls of the site, maintain the paths, and remove grass and fallen trees.

The campaign was launched from Patos Street, one of the most important and longest streets in the Greek era, with the aim of protecting the archaeological heritage.
