A man arrested for illegal excavation

Libyan Cloud News Agency – Shahhat

The Tourism Police in Jabal Al-Akhdar region in eastern Libya arrested a man and seized with him a number of artifacts.

The man was digging inside the ancient city of Shahhat when he was arrested.

He was referred to the Public Prosecutor’s Office for investigations.
