The HNEC deletes a statement on its website one hour after publishing

A member of the Board of Directors of the High National Elections Commission (HNEC), Abdul Hakim Belkhair, has denied the authenticity of the statement published on the official website of the HNEC regarding the interference of one of the presidential candidates in its work by military force.

Belkhair declared to Libya Alahrar TV that the statement is fake, saying the HNEC’s website might be hacked.

The HNEC published the statement on its website on Friday night and deleted it an hour later.
