Protesters in Tripoli demand the activation of the constitutional circuit of the Supreme Court

A group of lawyers, members of the Tripoli Bar Association and civil society activists held a protest in front of the headquarters of the Supreme Court in Tripoli on Wednesday, calling for reactivation of the constitutional circuit.

The protesters issued a statement calling for the implementation of the decision issued by the administrative department to activate the constitutional circuit of the Supreme Court, in order to stop the violations of the legislative bodies.

They stressed that the absence of the role of the constitutional circuit is a disruption of democracy and peaceful transfer of power. 

The protesters demanded that the impartiality and integrity of the judiciary be preserved, declaring that they will continue to protest until their demands are met.
