Municipal elections held in Jalu city

The municipal election for the Jalu Municipality was held on Monday.

 A member of the subcommittee of elections in the Libyan Government, Mohammad Bashir, said that 4332 people out of 6108 registered voters cast their votes for Jalu municipal elections in nine polling centers.

Bashir added that the electoral process started at eight o’clock and continued until eight in the evening amid precautionary measures against the Coronavirus.

He said that the voting percentage has reached 70.92%; 63.6% for males and 36.4% for females.
