Al-Manqoush receives the US Ambassador to Libya

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Najla Al-Manqoush, held a meeting in Tripoli with the US Ambassador to Libya, Richard Norland.

Both sides expressed interest to develop cooperation between the two countries.

Al-Manqoush called for facilitating US visas to Libyan citizens, especially the visas of students.

For his part, the US ambassador stressed the importance of the Libyan-American relations and the strengthening of partnership and strategic cooperation between the two countries to serve common interests.

He expressed his country’s support for the elections, peace efforts and maintaining stability and security in the country.
