Al-Lafi meets the Egyptian Chargé d’Affairs

Member of the Presidential Council, Abdullah Al-Lafi, met with the Chargé d’Affairs of the Embassy of Egypt in Libya, Tamer Mustafa.

The two sides discussed a number of files of common interest, ways to strengthen the strategic partnership between the two countries, and the latest developments in the political process in Libya.

Al-Lafi praised the Egyptian role in supporting national reconciliation efforts in Libya, and its efforts in sponsoring some tracks of the Libyan dialogue.

For his part, the Egyptian Chargé d’Affairs reiterated his country’s keenness to support a peaceful solution to the Libyan crisis and holding parliamentary and presidential elections with the participation of all Libyans.
