World Tourism Day celebrated in south Libya

The Tourism Office in Wadi Al-Hayat district in south Libya held a celebration on the occasion of World Tourism Day, in cooperation with the South Organization for Tourist Trips.

The celebration, which was held at the ancient city of Germa, included speeches and traditional songs that embody aspects of the ancient art and cultural life of the people of Fezzan.

The organizers said that they aim to create awareness programs for citizens to contribute to the protection of the city and its monuments.
