The director of the maintenance unit at the Desalination Plant Zuwarah, Aref Bricho, told #LCNA that the frequent power outages and the fluctuation of its services caused the station to stop and get out of work. The station is the main source of water in the cities of the western region (Ajailat, Jamil, Zuwara, Wardalain, Zultun and Abu Kamash), which has a population of at least 250,000.
