An exhibition of fig and associated industries started in Yefren

An exhibition of fig and associated industries started in the city of Yefren on Wednesday, under the auspices of the Ministry of Economy and Trade.

The exhibition, which is held in cooperation with the municipality of Yefren and the supervision of the Export Development Center, is the first of its kind in the Nafusa Mountain.

The three-day exhibition aims to highlight the role of the fig tree in supporting the Libyan economy as a source of national income, in addition to creating a space for meetings between fig producers and introduce them with the latest technologies in the field of production and marketing of fig products.

More than 40 farmers are taking part in the exhibition.
