Libya wants to restore historical documents during the Ottoman era

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs held a meeting with the Department of Antiquities, the Land Registration Authority, the Libyan Center for Archives and Historical Studies, and the Administration of the Old City of Tripoli.

During the meeting, the Deputy Foreign Minister for International Cooperation and Organizations Affairs, Omar Ketti, stressed the importance of strengthening and activating bilateral cooperation between Libya and Turkey concerning the Libyan historical documents during the Ottoman era in Libya.

The attendees agreed to hold contacts with the concerned Turkish authorities to restore the historical documents during the Ottoman era in Libya.
