Bint Bayah call for restoration of Caser Al-Fejaij archaeological site

Libyan Cloud News Agency – Bint Bayah

Caser Al-Fejaij is one of the archaeological sites in the municipality of Bint Bayah in Wadi Al-Ajal district in southwestern Libya that was built by the Germanic peoples.

Some of the site’s outer walls and watchtowers collapsed due to rain and wind conditions in the area, and no restoration or maintenance work has taken place so far, although it is registered with the Antiquities Department.

The residents of Bint Bayah called on the Antiquities Department and the relevant state agencies to pay attention to this archaeological landmark and prepare quick plans for its maintenance and restoration to stop the collapse that occurs in it from time to time due to the weather conditions in the area.
