The Minister of Health: All Libyans and foreigners will receive Coronavirus vaccine

The Minister of Health of the Government of National Unity, Ali Al-Zanati, announced in a press conference on Sunday the arrival of the first shipment of Coronavirus vaccine.

Al-Zanati said that the shipment contains 101,250 doses of Russia’s Sputnik V Coronavirus vaccine.

The Minister indicated that the second shipment will arrive next Wednesday, April 7, and it will contain from 300-400 thousand doses.

He said that the country is expecting about one million doses of vaccine on April 11, and the total number of vaccine Libya expects to receive is five million.

Al-Zanati” stated that all Libyan nationals and foreigners are expected to receive the vaccine.
