Libyan Red Crescent distributes aid to rain-affected families in Tobruk

The Libyan Red Crescent in Tobruk has distributed humanitarian aid to more than 400 families affected by the torrential rains and floods that swept the city over the past days.

A member of the Red Crescent, Faraj al-Qatani”, told the Libyan Cloud News Agency that the aid included food, mattresses, blankets, kitchen utensils and other materials that help these families.

He explained that the torrential rains caused damage to a number of families in the neighborhood of Alroos, Jabilat Annur and Saqifat Kharija.
