ISESCO includes 22 Libyan archaeological sites on the list of heritage in the Islamic world

The Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) included 22 archaeological sites of Libya on the list of heritage in the Islamic world, during the 10th session of the Committee on Heritage in the Islamic World held in Rabat in Morocco.
The Libyan ambassador to Morocco received the certificates of registration of Libyan heritage sites, In the presence of the Moroccan Minister of Youth, Culture and Communication, the Director General of the Organization, and a number of ambassadors and diplomatic representatives accredited to Morocco.
The list of Libyan sites includes: Qasir Hajj, Ahmed Pasha Mosque in the old city of Tripoli, the Tewatrywin Mosque in Zliten, the Othman Pasha School in the old city of Tripoli, Hosh Al-Hafar in the city of Gharyan, the Shaib Al-Ain Mosque in the old city of Tripoli, Darghouth Mosque in the old city of Tripoli, The Arch of Marcus Aurelius in the city of Tripoli, the Qarji Mosque in the old city of Tripoli, the Zawiyat of Sidi Amora in the city of Janzour, Hosh Mohsen in the old city of Tripoli, the ruins of Janzour in the city of Tripoli, the El Naqa Mosque in the old city of Tripoli, the Zawiyat of Al-Baza in Zliten, Al-Qarmanli House in the old city of Tripoli, the Abu Marouf Mosque, Yar Ibn Jawad Shros, the Fatimi Palace in Ajdabiya, Waw Al-Namous, Murad Agha Mosque, Antique Awjila Mosque, Murzuq Archaeological Citadel, and School of Islamic Arts and Crafts.
