Libyan Foreign Minister receives the US Ambassador to Libya

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Najla Al-Manqoush, held a meeting with the US Ambassador to Libya, Richard Norland, to discuss the latest developments in the political situation.

Both sides also discussed the national reconciliation project in Libya and the necessary arrangements for reopening the US embassy to start its work from Tripoli.

Al-Manqoush praised the role and efforts of the United States in promoting stability and peace in the country.

During the meeting Norland presented the International Women of Courage Award 2022 to Al-Manqoush, on behalf of the US Secretary of State, Anthony Blinken.
