The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Aqila Saleh, also delivered a recorded speech in which he called for end of fighting and conflicts.

“We call on the Presidential Council to refer the draft reconciliation project to the House of Representatives as soon as possible, because reconciliation will contribute to eradicating bloodshed and the return of the displaced people.” Aqila said.

In turn, the President of the High Council of State, Khaled Al-Mishri, said that national reconciliation is the first pillar of stability, state building and the achievement of social peace.

The Secretary-General of the Arab League, the Chairperson of the African Union Commission, and the Assistant Secretary-General of the United Nations also participated in virtual speeches affirming their support for the project.
