Libyan and Kuwaiti Foreign Ministers held talks in Kuwait city

The Libyan Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Najla Al-Manqoush, held talks with her Kuwaiti counterpart, Ahmad Al-Sabah, in Kuwait city on Sunday.

During the talks, the two sides reviewed the historical relations linking the two countries and ways to enhance them in all fields.

They stressed the importance of maintaining the momentum achieved by high-level visits between the two sides during the current year, and the need to activate the work of the Libyan-Kuwaiti joint committee.

They also agreed to activate cooperation between the Institute of Diplomatic Studies in Kuwait and the Institute the Libyan Diplomats to exchange experiences and organize intensive courses for diplomats.

The two ministers reviewed the latest developments in Libya and the efforts made to strengthen the political process, in addition to the latest regional and international developments.
