The Lakes, Heritage and Tourism Festival started in Ubari

The activities of the first session of the Lakes, Heritage and Tourism Festival were launched in Ubari, southwestern Libya.

The festival is held under the theme “From the Sands of Gaberoun and Mandara, We Call for Peace.”

The festival includes traditional songs and dancing as well as a display of traditional dress.

According to the organizers, the festival will last for two days and it will also include an exhibition of heritage and handicrafts collections, embodying the ancient life on the shores of Lake Gaberoun.
