Old walls of Leptis Magna defaced
Libyan Cloud News Agency – Khums
Unknown people have defaced some of the walls of the ancient city of Leptis Magna in the city of Khums with Graffiti.
An archeologist Ramadan Al-Shaibani confirmed to the Libyan Cloud News Agency that some walls of the Roman Theater have been vandalized with black ink, warning about the seriousness of such violations on archaeological sites.
Al-Shaibani indicated that such vandalism will not remove the archaeological sites in Libya from the list of danger, despite the fact that they are under the protection and auspices of the tourist police.
