UNSMIL condemns attack on Tripoli Military Academy

The United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) has condemned the shelling on Tripoli Military Academy in al-Hadba district, southern Tripoli, which left tens of people dead and wounded.

UNSMIL said in a statement that this escalation of violence will complicate the situation in Libya and undermines the political process.

UNSMIL extended condolences for the families of the victims.

It warned that the continuation of indiscriminate attacks on civilians and civil facilities may amount to war crimes.
