The US embassy in Libya called for the immediate reopening of the coastal road

The US embassy in Libya confirmed its full support for the Military Commission 5 + 5.

The embassy stated on its Twitter page that the United States, along with the United Nations Support Mission in Libya, strongly supports the Joint Military Committee 5 + 5 and the call for the immediate reopening of the coastal road.

It added that the reopening of the coastal road represents a vital link to trade and a necessary supply route for items such as vaccines and fuel that benefit all Libyans.
