The Board of Directors of the General Electricity Company sworn in

The Head of the Presidential Council of the Government of National Accord, Fayez al-Sarraj, swore in the new members of the Board of Directors of the General Electricity Company on Tuesday.

The new Board of Directors was chosen during the General Assembly meeting last Sunday.

Following the oath, al-Sarraj chaired a meeting with the new members where they discussed the current situation of the electrical grid in terms of the level of energy production, ways of covering the deficit, and the power stations’ maintenance activities, in addition to ways of overcoming the obstacles faced by the company in implementing its projects.
