Russia called for Libyan elections on time

Russia’s permanent representative to the United Nations, Vasily Nebenzya, called on the Libyan parties to overcome their differences and hold the elections as scheduled on December 24 next.

He explained that Russia is convinced that there is no alternative to a comprehensive peaceful settlement of the Libyan crisis under the auspices of the international community.
