Prime Minister Al-Dabaiba visits the HNEC

The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Al-Dabaiba visited the headquarters of the High National Elections Commission (HNEC) on Tuesday.

Al-Dabaiba held an extensive meeting with the management committee of HNEC regarding the elections and the difficulties facing the completion of the electoral process.

The head of the management committee Emad Al-Sayah confirmed the HNEC’s readiness to hold the elections, adding that they are waiting for the constitutional rule in order to set the date of the elections.

For his part, Al-Dabaiba said that all state institutions are ready to provide full support to the HNEC to hold the elections, confirming that the goal of the Government of National Unity is to hold elections in respect of the will of three million Libyans who have registered as voters.
