Moscow calls for restraint during Libyan presidential elections

Deputy Permanent Representative of Russia to the United Nations, Gennady Kuzmin, called on all parties in Libya to exercise maximum restraint, in light of the escalation of tension during the preparations for the presidential elections expected to be held on December 24.

Kuzmin’s statement came at a meeting of the UN Security Council on Wednesday.
