The Chairman of the General Authority for Tourism, Khidr Malik, received in his office in Tripoli the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain to Libya, Francisco de Megal, and his accompanying delegation, in the presence of the Director General of the Commission, Adel Farina, Hassan al-Qani, and the head of the tourist police, Brigadier General Mabruk Zaidi.
The meeting focused on a number of points, including the joint cooperation between Libya and Spain in the field of tourism investment and training, It requested the President of the Authority of the Ambassador to facilitate the Libyan citizens who applied for a Spanish visa without bothering to travel to Tunisia, confirming Libya’s willingness to grant visas to Libya to the Spanish citizens, and also touched on the issue of twinning between the tourist cities in Libya and other in Spain, pointing to the proposal to establish a reciprocal conference between the public and private tourism sector in Libya and Spain in the near, and the doors of investment open to Companies to work in the field of tourism investment.
