Libyan Foreign Minister held discussions with the Egyptian ambassador

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Najlaa Al-Manqoush, held discussions with the ambassador of Egypt to Libya, Mohamed Tharwat, at the Ministry’s headquarters in Tripoli on Monday.
Al-Manqoush assured the ambassador that he would receive all cooperation from the Libyan side in order to strengthen the relations between both countries.
Tharwat disclosed that the Egyptian embassy and consulate in Tripoli will soon be reopened to provide services, adding that work is underway to reopen the Egyptian consulate in Benghazi.
Both sides discussed cooperation between the two countries, and ways to develop it to include all fields, in addition to regulating the presence of Egyptian workers in Libya, and legalizing their status through electronic linking of labor-related systems.
Al-Manqoush expressed her thanks to Egypt for providing medical oxygen to Libya to fight the Coronavirus pandemic.
