Heads of HNEC and UNSMIL meet to discuss the electoral process

The Chairman of the High National Elections Commission (HNEC), Imad Al-Sayeh, held a meeting with the Head of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL), Jan Kubis, in Tripoli on Wednesday.

Both sides discussed the latest developments of the electoral process.

Kubis reiterated the international community’s support, through the United Nations, for the steps taken by the HNEC to hold the elections, stressing the United Nations’ commitment to stand by the Libyans to achieve their aspirations towards the desired democratic state.
