Al-Lafi discusses the political situations with the Italian Ambassador

Member of the Presidential Council, Abdullah Al-Lafi, held a meeting with the Italian Ambassador to Libya, Giuseppe Buccino, in Tripoli on Wednesday.

The two sides reviewed the latest political situations and ways to reach a solution to the crisis in Libya.

Al-Lafi praised the Italian diplomatic efforts to help Libya get out of the current political crisis, and briefed him on the efforts of the Presidential Council to hold the presidential and parliamentary elections.

Buccino renewed his country’s support for the efforts to achieve stability in Libya, and to hold simultaneous presidential and parliamentary elections.
