Protesters threaten to close oil fields if the government did not meet their demands

Members of Al-Wadi Movement held a protest in Ghurayfah Municipality in southwestern Libya on Friday.

The protesters warned that they will close oil fields in the coming period if the Government of National Unity and the National Oil Corporation did not respond to their demands, which include the reconstruction of Marshan Road that links Sabha and Ubari cities.

They expressed their refusal to exclude the southern region from the government programs for the reconstruction.
