Efforts to secure the release of Abdullah Al-Senussi from his prison in Tripoli

A delegation from Al-Magarha tribe visited Tripoli in an effort to release the prisoner Abdullah Al-Senussi, a former aide of Gaddafi.

The delegation met with the Minister of Justice and the Attorney General, who allowed them to visit the prisoner.

The head of the delegation Ali Abdul-Ghani said that they were unable to meet the Head of the Presidential Council Mohammed Al-Menfi and the Prime Minister Abdul Hamid al-Dabaiba.

He conveyed a message from Al-Senussi, saying that four medical committees examined him and recommended his release.
