Afriqiyah Airways cancelled Tripoli-Sabha flight to transport the new the Presidential Council

Members of the new Presidential Council arrived on Saturday at Taminhint Airport in their first visit to the city of Sabha after being selected by the members of the Libyan Political Dialogue Forum in Geneva.

An employee at Sabha International Airport confirmed to the Libyan Cloud News Agency that Afriqiyah Airways cancelled a scheduled flight from Tripoli’s Mitiga International Airport to Sabha International Airport to transport the new members of the Presidential Council to Taminhint Airport.

The employee added that the cancellation was done without prior notice which caused anger among the passengers with confirmed reservations.

One of the passengers protested outside Sabha Municipal Council where the Presidential Council was meeting, saying that the Presidential Council, on its first visit, increases the suffering of the citizen instead of alleviating it.
