Medical workers in Al-Jabal Al-Akhdar demand payment of financial dues

A number of doctors and nurses from the monitoring, investigation and rapid response centers to combat the Coronavirus in the municipalities of Al-Jabal Al-Akhdar region in east Libya issued a statement demanding payment of their financial dues.

In their statement, they indicated that they haven’t been paid for 14 months.

The doctors and nurses confirmed that all administrative and legal procedures had been completed and referred to the Medical Advisory Committee of Al-Jabal Al-Akhdar to pay their but their financial dues have not been disbursed so far

They also confirmed that all centers will continue to operate based on humanitarian and national motives.
