Latest update of COVID-19 infections in Libya – August 18

Libyan Cloud News Agency – Tripoli

The National Center for Disease Control analyzed on Wednesday, August 18, 8054 blood samples. The center confirmed that 6105 samples have tested negative for COVID-19 and 1949 samples tested positive. The percentage (% 24.2).

The center confirmed that 1178 patients have recovered from the disease with 33 deaths.

It also released the latest update of the coronavirus infections in the country as following:

Deaths: 4001

Recovery: 201589

Isolation: 76578

Total infections: 291168

Total number of vaccinated against Coronavirus: 897779
