Flights between Libya and Malta resumed

The Minister of Transport in the Government of National Unity, Mohamed Al-Shoubi, and the Maltese Minister for Economy and Industry, Silvio Schembri, held a joint press conference at Mitiga International Airport in Tripoli on Monday to announce the return of flights between Libya and Malta.
Minister Al-Shoubi congratulated the Libyan people on the return of flights between the two countries, after a hiatus of more than two years.
He declared that flights will resume at a rate of four flights per week, wishing success for this vital line, which will contribute to raising the national economy.
On his turn, Minister Schembri said that Libya and Malta have links that extend for many years, describing the return of flights as bringing together brothers and sisters, and that Libya deserves stability.
