Libya International E-Commerce Exhibition started in Tripoli

Libya International E-Commerce Exhibition started in Tripoli on Sunday, August 01.

Libya Logistics Company organized the exhibition with the support of Libya Trade Network and the sponsorship of Libyana Mobile Phone and Tadawul Transactions.

32 companies of various specialties are taking part in the exhibition, which will continue until August 03.

The Minister of Economy and Trade in the Government of National Unity Mohamed Al-Hawij, and the head of the General Authority for Exhibitions, inaugurated the exhibition.

Al-Hawij said in a speech that the Ministry of Economy and Trade had started implementing its plan towards digital transformation and providing services electronically.

He announced the launch of the electronic platform Libya Trade Network to enhance confidence in electronic commercial transactions and provide the necessary protection for the consumer from fraud and misinformation, in addition to stimulating and developing electronic commerce activities to facilitate and conduct electronic purchases and payments.

He stressed the need for Libya to catch up with the latest technology in the world to help achieve economic growth.
