TIKA delegation visited Ghadames

Members of the Municipal Council of Ghadames held discussions with a delegation from the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA).

During the meeting, they discussed ways of promoting cooperation, especially TIKA’s contribution to developing some historical, tourist and service facilities in Ghadames.

The Turkish delegation handed over to the Ghadames Healthcare Center a vehicle intended to transport medicines and vaccines as a sign of friendship between the Libyan and Turkish peoples.

The delegation visited some historical places, including the Ottoman Citadel (Ghadames Museum) to see its needs with regard to renovation and transfer them to the Turkish state for future consideration.
