The Minister of Interior opens the second forum for female employees of the Ministry of Interior

The Minister of Interior of the Government of National Accord, Fathi Bashagha, opened the second forum for female employees of the Ministry of Interior on Wednesday under the theme “Promoting the Role of Women in the Ministry of Interior”.

During his speech at the forum, the minister stressed the need to strengthen the role of women in the Ministry of Interior as part of the security arrangements.

He indicated that this role can only be done through inclusion of women in the security and police work through training to develop their capabilities and contribute to building the society.

Bashagha expressed his hope that 2021 will be a year of peace, stability, development and harmony, and that women have a role in this aspect.
