Tripoli Central Hospital reopens the Department of Otorhinolaryngology

Tripoli Central Hospital reopened on Thursday, February 20, the Department of Otorhinolaryngology after the completion of renovation works.

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) funded the renovation.

UN Humanitarian Coordinator in Libya, Yacoub El Hillo, and the director of Tripoli Central Hospital, Bahloul Bin Ramadan, attended the reopening ceremony.

Bin Ramadan said that four operations rooms and the post-anesthesia care unit were renovated. He added that the department is expected to perform from 25 to 30 surgeries a day.
