British Prime Minister says Libya is under a proxy conflict
Libyan Cloud News Agency – London
British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has declared that Libya is facing a proxy conflict driven by outside forces from Russia and Egypt in one side and Turkey on the other side.
Ahead of his participation in the Berlin Conference on Sunday, January 19, Johnson said that the European Union is split over the Libyan conflict.
He added that the Libyan conflict will only come to an end when the external proxies decide to end the war.
“It’s time now to move on and bring Libya under the UN-led peace process,” he concluded.
