Attack on police station in Tazirbu kills nine

Seven police officers and two prisoners were killed in an attack by an armed group on the police station of the town of Tazirbu. The attack took place in the late afternoon.

According to eyewitnesses, the group attacked the police station and killed the police officers and two prisoners who were locked up in the prison inside the police station.

Tazirbu is a remote oasis, located halfway between the oases and Kufra, 300 kilometers away from Kufra.
