A seminar on combating electronic violence against women held in Bayda

The Women’s Support and Empowerment Office at Omar Al-Mukhtar University in Bayda city organized a seminar on combating electronic violence against women.

During the seminar, the participants discussed the social and psychological aspects and the role of the media in warning of the dangers of electronic violence.

They also discussed the role of the Libyan legislator through the laws that were enacted in order to limit it and protect women’s rights, by legally prosecuting anyone who exploits the digital space to insult women.
